Mayor Leo Fontaine was staked out at Leo Savoie School Tuesday at about 4:30 p.m. with council candidates and his Mayoral challenger, Rep. Lisa Baldelli-Hunt.
Fontaine said the day's voter turnout was encouraging, as was the reaction he'd seen from voters. Fontaine said he felt he'd managed to turn around the momentum from the Oct. 8 primary, where Baldelli-Hunt bested his vote count 3-1. He said he's been more active on radio and on TV and around the city since then. "Time will tell as to whether we've done enough," Fontaine said.
