Fisher Offers Support to Next Mayor

Mayoral challenger David Fisher, third in the primary with about 12 percent of the vote at 435, offered to work with whoever wins the November contest for the city's top office.

Fellow challenger Lisa Baldelli-Hunt won 2,638 votes, while incumbent Mayor Leo Fontaine won 826 votes, both securing spots on the November ballot.

Fisher said his campaign was a success thanks to the ideas he was able to offer in the debate. He also offered his service to whoever wins the November mayoral contest. "I am yours," he said to the next mayor.

Fisher declined to endorse either candidate.
