It's Wednesday, Woonsocket - here are some things for you to know:

We're halfway through the week! Here are some things to steer you toward the weekend:

Prince & Princess story time — Stop by the today at 1:30 p.m., where a Kaleidoscope Theatre will present a Prince and Princess from a classic fairytale to talk about their story. You can take pictures with them at the end of the program. Come dressed in costume and get a sticker or bookmark.

Anime — Tonight is Anime night at the Woonsocket Harris Public Library, 6 p.m. Get your fill of space adventures, giant robots, power armor and other animated science fiction tropes.

Tax extension — Yesterday was the deadline to file your federal taxes. If you need an extension, you can get information on how to file for one at the IRS website.

Dont' Walk — On this day in 1955, the first "Walk"/"Don't Walk" lighted street signals were installed, according to brainyhistory.com. Where was that? The DOT would like to tell you, but it doesn't know.

Walk — Today will be partly cloudy, with a high of 65 degrees. Try to enjoy lunch outside today or make time for a walk.
