Good news Woonsocket drivers - the DPW will repave five streets in the city starting July 22.
The streets are:
Sunnyside Avenue
Asylum Street
Maple Street
Cumberland Street (from Hamlet Avenue to Clinton St)
Hamlet Avenue (from Bennett Street to Davison Avenue and the Hamlet Avenue Bridge)
The work will begin at 7 a.m and continue until that day’s work is completed at about
4 p.m. Portions of the roads may be closed from time to time but local traffic and emergency vehicles will have access.
Parking restrictions will also be in place along parts of the roadways.
