The heat may be keeping lots of people inside but it's not keeping folks at the Woonsocket Senior Center down.
Activities Director Sue Sgambato said most people who want to get in from the heat go to the Woonsocket Harris Public Library where there are movies, books and the Internet to keep them entertained.
But the center is still designated an official cooling center and people in the area are welcome to stop there for a break from the heat.
Seniors are welcome to join in the weekly Tuesday Zumba Gold classes led by instructor Fran Golombiewski, who also teaches line dancing at the center. Call 401-766-3734 for more information.
