How Much Snow Will Woonsocket Get on Saturday?

A second storm is headed to the area and could make driving hazardous on Saturday.

A second storm of the week is headed toward New England and will dump a bit more snow onto the area on Saturday.

The National Weather Service is predicting Woonsocket to get about 2 inches of snow in the storm that is expected to start around noon Saturday, ending late Saturday night. Patchy fog is expected to worsen visibility as temperatures warm slightly in the afternoon, topping out around 34.

The rest of the weekend and early week is looking better — though cooler — in Woonsocket. Expect partly sunny skies with temperatures in the low-30s Sunday and Monday, with overnight lows dipping into the teens. New Year's Day should warm a bit, with temps topping out in the high-30s under mostly coudy skies.
