Finally Friday Five: Race Against Racism, Nightlife, Register, Calendar

Race Against Racism - Today is the last day you'll get a discount for early registration for the Race Against Racism 5K during Autumnfest Oct. 7. Early sign-up pricing for the Race Against Racism at Autumnfest is $22 until after today. Tomorrow, the entry fee is $25, and $27 the day of the race. A race t-shirt is also available for those who register in advance.

Night out - There are a lot of options for citizens interested in a night out this weekend: Tonight, Drag Queen Kitty Litter is at the Stadium Theatre, 6:30 p.m. and rock band The Complaints is playing at River Falls at 9 p.m. Check out a full listing for the weekend.

Register to vote - Oct. 7 is the deadline to register to vote for the Nov. 6 election, and Oct. 16 is the deadline to request a mail-in ballot. This election season voters will also be required to show a voter ID.
