I went to fill a prescription at the Lake Butler store #5172. On thursday July 2rd the tech said there was not enough to fill my prescription. I asked if it could be ordered and I was told to come drive back the next day (a 20 mile round trip) to talk to the pharmacist. I would like to remark that this request was made at the drive through to a tech named leanne who I became frustrated with because I felt there was no reason for her to instruct me to return if the standard practice in Florida with Pain medications is not to take in prescriptions on order and to suggest I come back, at an extra cost to me (and no cost to her, not to mention the lack of training it took for her to suggest it) I became irritated and after completing our trans action, conversation and closing the drive through and my vehicle window I made a regretful gesture as I was leaving. But at no time did I verbalize anything to any staff member of the CVS, nor didI direct anything even my irritated gesture at anyone.
I returned the next day, and calmly spoke to the pharmacist Mike Swindling(?) who informed me at indeed they were out, for the month and he was unable to guarantee a delivery time, which I was ok with but I was still told to look elsewhere. I assume this was because this was due to the prescription being for pain management, but I do not know. He did not speak to me about what would become in his eyes a behavioral problem.
After spending my day driving to the two closest towns and to 10 local pharmacies, with no luck I waited till after the holiday weekend and called the Lake Butler CVS store #5172 pharmacy once again, before calling my physician to make an appointment to change my medication to one that would be less of an issue. I spoke to the pharmacist Mike S, we discussed some questions I had and I was told that They likely had the medication in but I would have to visit the store to verify.
When I arrived at the pharmacy the pharmacist Mike confirmed the prescription was available to be filled and then proceeded to chastise me for my bad behavior that I had a poor attitude "every time i dealt with his staff" I firmly disagreed with that statement stating "I had never had words with any of his staff that I had become irritable and made a gesture leaving the drive through and I sincerely apologize for that, it won't happen again." The pharmacist Mike S went further to state " if your behavior continues to be disagreeable I will discontinue service." at which time I said "I did not appreciate his threat." He abruptly told me he "will not be filling my prescription today!!'
schmuck
I have to say that his efforts were meant to provoke me. And while I was not provoked I was disgusted. The man you have working with the public is an egomaniac and schmuck. The irony was lost on him that he did threaten my and followed through on it simply for me having a voice and being displeased with his use of the only power he has over those he can wield it on. It is sad and pathetic, but his employer should know that he is doing this to costumers and that those costumers are loud and have lots of friends not only here in Florida but across this beautiful country and CVS will likely not be getting my business unless some action is taken.
