Showcase Pro Wrestling Night of Changing Champions also Pro Wrestler of the Month Bareknuckle Burly

This article is about a Woonsocket based Pro Wrestling Promotion Showcase Pro Wrestling. It is family friendly and does a lot for the community.

Showcase Pro Wrestling http://www.showcaseprowrestling.com/   is a
pro wrestling school and promotion based out of Woonsocket Rhode Island. It is
family friendly and not only provides entertainment but has been a pillar for
many fundraisers including the 1st ever Cystic Fibrosis Wrestling
for a Cure Fundraiser in Clinton, Connecticut and a benefit for the American
Heart Association. There have been many pro wrestling legends and champions
that have been the foundation of Showcase Pro Wrestling’s ever growing
legacy.  Mike Nice, Barricade, Nick
Night, Sergeant Muldoon, Derek Molhan, Cargil Vinton, Don Vega, Chris Blackheart,
The Baker Boys, Dana Cama, John Cen .Sr, and Monster Mack are to name a few
that have made an impact in New England Pro wrestling and who have toured the
pro circuit that that are still active with the company.

An up and coming
featured wrestler Mccarthy has been a constant terror to Showcase Pro wrestling’s
desperado The Widowmaker.  Mccarthy has
mocked Widomaker by dressing up like him and has interfered with the outcome
results on a match or two. A huge feud is brewing between both individuals it
will eventually be the classic Joker vs Batman showdown. Another featured wrestler
to see is David Armando Nieves Flores (The Latin Crippler) from Latin America.
He is very sound in the ring and is one of the best technical wrestlers in New
England. But most important he is one of the most stylish.

A week ago at the Attleboro Moose lodge an earth shattering situation occurred in regards to their reigning
SPW champion “the prodigal child with the southern smile” Cargill Vinton. A
challenge was made by The Punisher Don Vega for a title shot. Showcase Pro
Wrestling had an event in a no excuses rules match. Both fought like true
athletes in the ring until Cargill attempted to hit Vega with a kendo stick.
Vega performed a lariat on Vinton and as a result The Punisher Don Vega is the
newly crowned SPW Heavyweight champion.

After the match Vega had said “It feels good to have SPW title around my waist is been a long time
coming and a long hard road to get here. But now I have the prize that shows
that I'm the best.” He also added “as far as a rematch goes Cargill Vinton can
come get it anytime he chooses. I plan on being a fighting champion. And by
carrying this belt around I have a target on my back .But that’s perfectly fine
because I never back down from anyone or any challenge.”

Also that night Nicholas Night and Damon Flex
lost their titles to the crowd favorite Monster Mack. But the surprising thing
that had happened with that match was the ref was distracted and two men in
masks sabotaged the match by hitting Damon and Night with chairs.  “I am proud of our current SPW tag team
champions. However not feeling fulfilled, because they did not defeat Night and
Damon legally”  said promoter/ wrestler
Chris Blackheart.”

Month Bareknuckle Burly Q and A

By
Christopher Annino

Q: How did you get your start?

BB: I got my start through a friend that was doing
shows in the Everret MA. area. He needed someone to watch his back and be his
bodyguard. That day started it all.

Q: What is your most memorable match?

BB: My most memorable match was for the VCW
championship, against the man that trained me, "the Boston Bad Boy"
Jason Rumble in my hometown of Lowell MA.

Q: Best feud?

BB: I would say my best feud was as the tag team of
"The Family" with my cousin "Big Bear" against the team of
"High Tide" (Makua & Andy Mckenzie).

Q: Who do you like in wrestling?

BB: “I would say I'm a fan of more old school
wrestling, than whats on TV nowadays. Guys like the Crusher, and Dick the
Bruiser.”

Q: favorite food?

BB:  “A nice rare T-bone steak.”

Q: Favorite movie?

BB: “I would say my favorite movie is Fight Club, or
Snatch.”

Q: Favorite finishing move?

BB: “Nowadays my finisher has been the heart punch,
or a good old fashion punch in the face.”

Q: favorite hobby?

BB: “Collecting debts is how i spend most of my free
time, so thats my hobby I'd say.”

Q: Best advice?

A: "Do or do not, there is no try". -YODA
