What Small Business in Newport Can You Not Live Without?

Newport Patch Facebook readers tell us their favorite local businesses.

In light of Small Business Saturday, Newport Patch asked our Facebook readers what small business in town could they not live without and why.

We can't really say we were surprised with all the replies we received, with Dexter being such a great place to shop local.

Here's a look at what your neighbors said. If you don't see your favorite, feel free to leave us a comment.

Caroline Monahon: Newport wine cellar <3

Erica Wood: Sullys

Meg McGuire: The Linen Shop...

Niko Merritt: El Perrito

Kari Robinson: Cabbage Rose, the wine cellar, and Newport power yoga

Christine Commeau-Mattera: Sole Desire

Stephanie Baranosky: Empire!

Anne Marie Antolino-Herndon: Of course Bridge to Fitness!!

Maryanne Sawyer: Alex and Ani Newport, Any and Everything. Empire Tea & Coffee, Pleasant Surprise, The Paper Lion, Only in Rhode Island, Goodies by the sea, The Portsmouth Shop, JH Breakell, and Platinum House.

Meredith Spitalnik: Simmons Farm! The only one I could NOT live without :) And for the list of business I wouldn't WANT to live without: Eva Ruths, Custom House Coffee, Deborah Winthrop's, Bridge to Fitness, Aquidneck Grower's Market, Newport Wine Cellar, and all our wonderful restaurants!

Ashley Swift: Always find great gifts at Macdowell Pottery. My son would probably say Goodies by the Sea. Gotta love Newport Wine Cellar
