Friday, May 10:

  • 12:30 pm: Bingo at the Woonsocket Senior Services. Free.
  • 8:30 pm: Karaoke at Rick's Bar & Grill. Full pizza menu.
  • 9 pm: Karaoke with DJ Jimmy at Michael's Food & Spirits. 21+, ID required. No cover.

Saturday, May 11:

  • 8 am: Eco-Depot at 1117 River St., hosted by Rhode Island Resource Recovery Corporation. Drop off household hazardous waste like old paint, cleaning products, and other yucky stuff. Appointment required. Visit www.ecodepotri.org or call (401) 942-1430 x241
  • 8 am: Indoor Flea Market at Holy Family Church. Fundraiser for church operations, reasonable donations requested.
  • 9 am: Car Wash at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Rectory. Girl Scout Troop 381 hosts the event to raise funds for an upcoming whitewater rafting trip. Donations accepted.
  • 10 am: Spring Craft Sale at Le Moulin. Handmade jewelry, paintings, one-of-a-kind up-cycled furniture and home decor, hand knit and crochet items, books, and more. 
  • 10:30 am: Tunes & Tales with Anne Marie Forer at Woonsocket Harris Public Library. Music, motion songs, and stories. For kids 6 and younger with parent. Free.
  • 2 pm: Afternoon Tea at Ciro's Tavern. The Woonsocket Republican City Committee hosts this fundraising event, open to the whole family. $25 adults, $15 kids under 12.
  • 4:30 pm: Texas Style BBQ Dinner at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs. Boy Scout Troop 2 hosts the feast, which includes BBQ pulled pork, baked beans, mac & cheese, coleslaw, corn bread, homemade fruit crisp and beverages. $12 for adults, $7 for kids 4-10, under 3 free.
  • 8 pm: RUNA and Stefilia's Stone Celtic Roots Concert at the Circle of Friends Coffeehouse in Franklin, MA. Show starts at 8. $20.

Sunday, May 12:

  • 1:30 pm: Bingo at Fairmount Heights. Knock on the window and they'll let you in. Mention that you saw the note on Woonsocket Patch.
  • 3 pm: Meat Raffle at St. Joe's Veterans Association. Buy tickets, win meat. Free lunch with raffle ticket purchase.
