TPG Names Ed Joanis Director of Maintenance

The Plastics Group of America (TPG), supplier and manufacturer of thermoplastic resins headquartered in Woonsocket, has named Ed Joanis its Director of Maintenance.

Ed, a Woonsocket resident, joined company in 2011. He'll be responsible for making sure plant operations at both of TPG’s locations on River Street and at the ongoing restoration of the Jules Desurmont Mill Complex on Fairmont Street are running smoothly.

“Ed has been in the business for 25 years, providing companies with expert facility maintenance during that time. Whether the challenge involves PLCs, plumbing or wiring, Ed has the experience and applied expertise to get whatever is broken back up and running with a minimum of delay," said Bob Lebeaux, President of (TPG).  

 "He is also proficient in preventative maintenance, inspecting equipment and engaging in best practices to insure that problems do not arise.  He is quite deserving of this appointment, ” Lebeaux said.
