East Side Edibles Opens For Business

Cicilline attends ribbon cutting for shop's first day.

 

East Side Edibles proprietor Paula Paulette got some help cutting the ribbon for her shop's grand opening Saturday morning from US Congressman David Cicilline (D-RI).

The shop, which sells "Out of the ordinary edibles and custom gifts" (The chocolates, for instance, are infused with ingredients like cayenne pepper and sea salt), officially opened for business Saturday, June 30 at 11 a.m. with a ribbon cutting ceremony at the 987 Cass Ave. location.

Cicilline presented a Congressional Citation to Eastside Edibles owner Paula Paulette during the ceremony.

“Small businesses like Eastside Edibles make up the backbone of our state’s economy,” said Cicilline.  “I was delighted to join Paula for her grand opening, and I look forward to working with her and other entrepreneurs as we expand opportunities for new small businesses in Rhode Island.”
