Bites Nearby: Chicken Power

Chicken Power's quick comfort food is a great choice for families on the go.

Having a busy family makes it hard to have a nice family dinner when everyone is on the run. One of my favorite "mother's little helpers" is Chicken Power.

The first thing you notice at Chicken Power is how wonderful it smells when you get out of the car. When you go into Chicken Power you'll see an open kitchen concept. It is nice, clean and well lit, and with an open kitchen, you can see all of the fresh ingredients. (When I was there they were pealing the squash!)

The service was quick and friendly, but I had a hard time deciding what to order, because everything looked and smelled so good. I finally chose the Super Bucket.

  • Dinner for five at Chicken Power: $24.99.
  • Includes: Two whole rotisserie chickens and four large sides. I chose two large real mashed potatoes with gravy, one large stuffing (that was fabulous) and one large squash. It also came with corn muffins and cranberry sauce.
  • This fed my family with plenty of  leftovers for the next day.

The next time I go, I plan on ordering the chicken pot pie.  It was a top seller the night I was there.
