Woonsocket Artist Honored by New Leaders Council of RI
Brad Fesmire received the Arts and Culture award.
Among this year's recipients of awards from the New Leaders Council of Rhode Island was Woonsocket artist Brad Fesmire, who won the Arts and Culture award for 2013.
The NLC described Fesmire, who is a member of Woonsocket's Innovative Solutions for Education, as an artist who "integrates his passion for art education with advocacy.
Fesmire, one of four young leaders recognized at the May 9 event, also serves as a supervisor for the RiverzEdge Youth Arts program.
