GALLERY: A Day In The Park (Autumnfest 2012)

Rides, games, living statues filled World WarII Park For annual celebration.

 

Autumnfest's three-day weekend of events, fireworks, bands, food and games filled World War II Memorial Park with people eager for entertainment and fair food.

They weren't disappointed.

Monday's festivities started out with the Autumnfest Parade at 9:30 a.m. starting on Diamond Hill Road, followed by the sights, sounds and foody aromas of Autumnfest itself.

Grand Prize: Button #5060 This year's grand prize is a trip to Florida, sponsored by WNRI Radio. The trip includes airfare for two and four days, three nights in Orlando, Fla.

Second Prize: Button #4957 $300

Third Prize: Button #6121 $200

Fourth Prize: Button #2850 $100

There are also second, third and fourth-place cash prizes: $300, $200 and $100, respectively, Paul said.

According to WNRI, the winner of the 50/50 raffle is Joseph Brown Jr. of Cumberland. 

Organizer Linda Plays said people who bought buttons should hold on to them, since the prizes will be re-drawn later if the current winners fail to claim them
