FRCA Golf Tourney Raises More Than $19,000 for Woonsocket Shelter

Family Resources Community Action’s (FRCA) 8th Annual Golf Tournament was held on July 26, raising more than $19,000 to support the Woonsocket Shelter and homelessness prevention programs. 

More than 80 golfers came out on golf day, and more than 40 businesses and organizations participated as sponsors. The major tournament sponsors were: Mutual of America Life Insurance Company, Technical Support International, Inc.,  American Tele-Connect Services, Inc.,  Christopher Bouley-Merrill Lynch, Fournier & Fournier Funeral Services, Granite Software, Inc., Inland Associates/Coastal/PNL Supply, Kahn, Litwin, Renza & Co. Ltd.,  Mainland Properties, NRI Community Services, Provider Insurance Group, Raybo Realty,  Realty Maintenance Services, Inc., and Soucy Insurance Agency. 

David Soucy served as the event Honorary Chairperson. “The resources from this event come at a time of growing need for shelter and homelessness prevention services,” said FRCA Executive Director Ben Lessing. “We greatly appreciate the support.”
