Youth Mental Health First Aid Training Now Enrolling
Family Resources Community Action is now enrolling for the Youth Mental Health First Aid training, an 8-hour evidence-based course to educate adults on supporting youth who may be experiencing mental health challenges. This course will introduce participants to signs, symptoms and risk factors associated with typical mental health concerns in adolescents. Participants will learn how to aid youth and promote early intervention by utilizing a 5-step action plan. Teachers, coaches, social service workers, faith-based members and others working with youth populations are encouraged to participate.
Training dates: March 24th & 27th; Time: two 4-hour session 9:00 AM- 1:00PM
Location: Woonsocket Harris Public Library 303 Clinton St. Woonsocket

Cost $25 or $35 for Social Work CEU (includes: Certificate, YMHFA Manual, & RI Resource List)
