Raimondo Talks About Treasury Programs on YWCA RI's She Shines Radio

WOONSOCKET, R.I. - General Treasurer Gina M. Raimondo sat down with Meg Grady, Chief Operating Officer of YWCA Rhode Island, on the WOON 1240 She Shines radio program to speak about treasury programs and her role as an elected official.  The interview airs on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 10am.

 

Raimondo spoke about ways her office is reaching out to Rhode Islanders to increase financial literacy throughout the state. The Treasurer, a 2011 recipient of the YWCA’s Women of Achievement award, also encouraged women to pursue positions of leadership.

“As Treasurer, I believe that we can all work to make Rhode Island a better place,” said Raimondo. “My office is always looking for ways to make Rhode Islanders more informed about ways to set and achieve their goals.”
