Movies in the Park

Every Friday Night in June, Woonsocket Parks & Recreation is putting on a Movie at River Island Park.  Concessions, activities and music start at 7pm and the movie is played at dusk!  June 6th...Wreck it Ralph...Everyone get a "medal" tonight!  June 13th FROZEN...come sing and dance prior to the movie, and for better or worse...what ever anyone thinks of this movie... its ending shows real strength and insight (A REALLY GREAT FILM, for so many reasons), plus the songs are fun and kids & adults LOVE IT!, June 20th The Sandlot... a nostalgic look back at how it used to be for kids, June 27th...the WARHORSE (this was previously rained out), this PG13 war movie, has a great story line and messages but parents are urged to use their judgment because there is war violence.
