Brianna Stanford and Jordan Stanford of Cumberland, eighth-grade students at Dayspring Christian Academy of Attleboro, Mass., were inducted into the school’s chapter of the National Junior Honor Society during a formal ceremony May 2 at the adjacent South Attleboro Assembly of God Church.

The Stanfords were among six DCA eighth-graders and two seventh-graders who were inducted for the first time. Six eighth-graders  were inducted for the second straight year.

The National Junior Honor Society is an adjunct of the National Honor Society and its membership is restricted to students in affiliated middle schools or junior high schools in the United States. Its stated five pillars of success are scholarship, leadership, citizenship, service and character.
