Bring out yer' trees... The City of Woonsocket's Public Services Division will be picking up discarded Christmas Trees starting Wednesday, Jan. 2, through Friday, Jan. 17.
Take off the decorations before you set them at the curb.
Holiday trash pickup - On Wednesday Jan. 1, the Woonsocket
Material Recycle Facility will be closed. A complete listing of accepted items for FREE can be found on the City of Woonsocket’s web site under Solid Waste.
Curbside pick-up for trash and recycling for Jan. 1, 2nd and 3rd will be delayed by one day.
Special Election -The special election brewing to fill the Dist. 49 seat vacated by new Mayor Lisa Baldelli-Hunt will pit three candidates against each other in the Jan. 21 primary.
