Meet Santa, Donate Warm Clothes, Share Photos

Santa - The big guy is back in town this year, meeting with kids at the mini park at City Hall, 169 Main St., through Dec. 17. Check here for the dates

YWCA Mitten Tree - YWCA RI at 514 Blackstone St. is displaying a Mitten Tree from now until Jan. 10.  A Mitten Tree holds mittens, gloves, hats, scarves, socks and other warm clothing on its branches, typically for children. Anyone in need of these items is welcome to them.

All donations are warmly welcomed. Please leave labels/tags on for
information regarding clothing materials and sizes. To learn more,
stop by YWCA Rhode Island at 514 Blackstone Street in Woonsocket or
call 401-769-7450.

Share your snapshots - As snowfall like Tuesday afternoon become more frequent, you'll probably find yourself with snapshots of snow men, angels or the shoveling/clearing chore added to your morning routine on the way to work. What to do with those photos...what to do... East Providence Patch has the answer: post them here to share with your fellow readers.

Special Election -
Campaign junkies rejoice - there's a Special Election brewing to fill the Dist. 49 seat vacated by new Mayor Lisa Baldelli-Hunt. Prospective candidates should mark their calendars - there are only two calendar days to declare your candidacy at City Hall.
