Trash Schedule delay - Since Fridays route would have been Thursdays collection due to the New Year holiday, the cancelation will push collection back another day:

  • Monday Jan 6 through Friday Jan 10 will be delayed by one day. (The delay next week will also be for Bulk Item collection.)
Bring out yer' trees... The City of Woonsocket's Public Services Division will be picking up discarded Christmas Trees  through Friday, Jan. 17.

Take off the decorations before you set them at the curb.

Special Election -The special election brewing to fill the Dist. 49 seat vacated by new Mayor Lisa Baldelli-Hunt will pit three candidates against each other in the Jan. 21 primary.

Ghost Army - Now through Jan. 31, the Museum of Work & Culture, in conjunction with the BVTC, present a special Ghost Army Exhibit, at the Museum, located at Market Square in Woonsocket.
