This is a special meeting of the Woonsocket Planning Board where the Board desires to receive citizen input about specific changes to the Zoning Map to create consistency with the Woonsocket Comprehensive Plan.
Some of the zoning changes are set to occur on Park Avenue, Providence St, Avenue A, Carriere Ave, Cumberland Hill Road, Mendon Road, Cass Ave, Second Avenue, and Rhodes Avenue. Residents, property and business owners are encouraged to attend.

More About Woonsocket Harris Public Library
Harris Public Library was the first library in the state of Rhode Island, originally opening its doors below Harris Hall on Main Street in 1868. The facility moved to Clinton Street in 1974 and now has a collection of about 125,000 books, plus computers, meeting rooms and a large section for kids. An extensive database can be accessed from the library website, and the facility regularly holds events and workshops, including book clubs, writing groups and Monday Afternoon Movies.
