Kevin K. Coleman Elementary School is part of the Woonsocket public school system serving students in grades three through five. The facility was built in 1963 and was originally used as a parochial school operated by Sacred Heart Parish. Named after a respected former mayor, the school neighbors Fifth Avenue and currently serves 258 students. It is equipped with a media center and a 25-station computer lab. It offers before and after school literacy programs, special education and speech and language therapy. Principal Ron Celio supervises both Coleman Elementary and Fifth Avenue Elementary.
