The weather, if it were described for the Summer of 2012, has been humid, and hot and oppressive. We still have to eat and I for one try to make it enjoyable. I turned to my collection of favorite recipes and scored, according to my wife, with this traditional version of "Crab Louie." Lump crabmeat on a bed of lettuce, garnished with tomato, hard boiled eggs and avocado. The dressing is always served on the side and apportioned according to the individual's taste...from sparingly to drenched. All good, and a show stopper every time. Enjoy.
