Woonsocket To Meet The Candidates Aug. 28: What Would You Ask?
Pose your questions for the candidates before next week's forum.
Most candidates running for the General Assembly have accepted an invitation to participate in the Aug. 28 Meet the Candidates forum sponsored by MyWoonsocket.com and 1380 WNRI.
Only one candidate won't make it. Michael Moniz, an independent challenging the winner of the Sept. 11 primary for Dist. 49, will be out of town.
The free, open-to-the-public event will be held at Chan's Fine Oriental Dining, 267 Main St., 7 p.m.
The candidates attending the forum are:
Rep. Lisa Baldelli Hunt (D-Dist. 49, Woonsocket) faces two challengers in the primary: Michael A. Morin of 180 Allen St., Unit 202, and Stuart Gitlow of 641 Harris Ave.
