Woonsocket Man Wins $10,000 Mega Millions Drawing
Wiegand said he plans to make a donation to the Woonsocket Senior Center.
The $10,000 winning ticket from Friday's Mega Millions® drawing was claimed on Monday by William Wiegand of Woonsocket. The ticket matched four numbers and the Mega Ball® number. The standard payout for this type of win is $10,000. If he had chosen to play the Megaplier® option for an additional $1, the $10,000 prize would have been multiplied by 4 to equal $40,000.
William turned 78 years old Sunday and said this was a very nice present. He plans to donate some of his money to the Senior Center in Woonsocket that he often goes to.
He purchased the winning ticket at Gulf Express at 852 Park Ave. in Woonsocket. The employees there are like family to him, he said, and he plans to share some of his winnings with them as well.

Wow Im happy for him. I hope he spends it quickly before obama gets in. Remember obama would want to redistribute half of it after taxes to someone else.
