Woonsocket Prevention Coalition - The group will meet today at 5:30 p.m. at Landmark Medical Center, 115 Cass Ave,  to discuss a new assortment of tobacco products aimed at children to try them. 

Animal shelter - The Woonsocket Animal Shelter has stray pets available for adoption (5 days after the date they are found). They're also partial to donations of money, cat litter, dog and cat toys, blankets, towels, cleaning supplies and leashes.

Volunteer - Got some free time on your hands? Check out Serve RI. They've got the work you need to cure what ails you. You'll probably be helping out your fellow man at the same time. Win-win.
