State Trooper Log: Parole Violator, Heroin Dealer Arrested

Troopers apprehend parole violator
On January 8, 2013, members of the Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Paul Winiarski, age 47, of 292 Manville Road, Woonsocket, RI, as a Parole Violator. Mr. Winiarski was processed at the Lincoln barracks and turned over to officials at the Adult Correctional Institutions.
Task Force arrests heroin dealer
On January 9, 2013, members of the HIDTA Unit arrested Mr. Giovanni Morales Nieves, age 22, of 214 Cottage St., 3rd Floor, Woonsocket, RI, for the following: 1) Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for two (2) counts of Delivery of Heroin to a Police Officer; 2) Possession of Heroin, 1 ounce to 1 kilo; and 3) Possession of Heroin with Intent to Deliver. Mr. Nieves was processed at the Lincoln Barracks and arraigned before a Justice of the Peace, where he was ordered held without bail. Mr. Nieves was transported to the Adult Correctional Institutions.
