Readers' Choice: Best Park or Playground in Woonsocket
Where do you go to take a stroll or play with the family?
As the weather gets warmer and the daylight hours extend, it's tempting to want to spend most of your time outdoors. Because really, what's nicer than a picnic or frisbee toss at one of our many local parks, or an afternoon with the kids at one of our playgrounds?
With the official start of spring on Tuesday, we want to know: what's your favorite recreational space in Woonsocket?
Is it Cass Park, Dunn Park, Costa, Aylsworth, Cold Spring or River Island? Do you prefer to take your kids to the Chaplin-Perez Community Center, or Globe Park?
Vote in our poll and share your thoughts in the comments section below. If we left your favorite park or playground off the list, note that in the comments as well.
We'll leave the poll up all week then close voting at 9 a.m. Friday. At noon that day, we'll share your top local pick. (see rules attached to this article) Then be sure to watch the site over the weekend when we tally up the top votes and announce the park or playground that got the most rave reviews across all of our Rhode Island sites.
Because this poll is not scientific, it is not the sole consideration in choosing a winner. The winner will be determined by the Patch editor, based on poll results and reviews on Patch Places. For full details on our rules, see the attached PDF. Please vote only once per survey, per Patch.
