On Oct. 2, police responded to o 337 Third Ave., apt. 1, at 10:18 p.m. for a report of a domestic assault with a cooking pan. When they arrived, they met with Lance Blicker, 33, who told them that his ex, Riendeau, had shown up at his apartment, pushed her way in and started arguing with him. Riendeau accused him of being unfaithful while they were together.

Blicker said the two are attempting to work out their relationship, but Riendeau becomes violent when they argue. During the argument, he walked away into the kitchen and asked her to leave several times. This infuriated her, he said, and she followed him and slapped him in the face. Blicker asked her to leave again, but she grabbed a pan and hit him in the back of the head with it instead.

Next, Riendeau picked up a pan with cold grease in it and threw it at him, Blicker said, before storming out.

Blicker was informed of his rights under the Rhode Island Domestic Violence Law. Police responded to Riendeau's home, but were unable to locate her until Oct. 10.
