The following arrest information was supplied by the Woonsocket Police Department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

"Take me to jail"-

Richard Testa, 39, of 279 South Main St. was arrested at home at 3:37 a.m. on Tuesday on two charges of vandalism, assault and resisting arrest. Woonsocket Police responded to a call reporting vandalism in progress at on South Main Street and arrived to find trash cans turned over, hoses from the gas pumps on the ground and a large window at nearby Interior Creations broken. While officers were investigating the scene, dispatch sent out a call regarding a disturbance at 279 South Main St. which police suspected could be related. The caller from the residence said her roommate came home intoxicated and covered in blood.

According to reports, police located Testa in the fetal position on the kitchen floor in the building, with blood on his hands and clothes. Reports state that in slurred speech, Testa mentioned hitting the window then became irate yelling "take me to jail." The suspect allegedly began spitting saliva and blood on the floor and moving towards police in a threatening manner. The officers attempted to subdue Testa with a taser, but according to reports, the prongs were blocked by his clothes. Officers then used OC spray but could not contain the suspect, who allegedly was grabbing at officers. Police applied the taser a second time but Testa reportedly attempted to rip the prongs from his body continuing to resist while yelling incoherently. Five officers were eventually involved in the arrest which included repeated drive stuns, before Testa was held down and cuffed. The suspect was reportedly abusive to rescue personnel as he was transported to Landmark Medical Center.
