Police Log: Cops Bust Drug Dealer At Home Outfit, Seize Hashish, Pot, Pills

About $1,000 in drugs confiscated during raid.

Police visited a drug dealer selling from his home at 25-27 Foundry St. July 26 at 7:58 a.m., seizing about $1,000 in pot, hashish, and hydrocodone.

While they were there they also arrested Jose Miguel Diaz, 33, of 27 Foundry St., Apt. 2, and charged him with three counts of maufacturing to deliver a schedule I/II drug, a felony, one count of maintaining a common nuisance (controlled substances), and one count of distributing narcotics near a school, a felony.

Members of the Woonsocket Police Vice Squad obtained a warrant to search the address after making controlled purchases of crack cocaine from the location. At 7:10 a.m., the Woosocket Police Special Reaction Team entered the building, finding Diaz in his bedroom.

Three juveniles were also in the apartment, and a parent was called to pick them up.

Officers also found two bags containing 37 grams of hashish worth $700, two bags containing 12.9 grams of marjuana worth $100 and 20 pills of hydrocodone worth $200.

Police found three cell phones using the number undercover officers had used to make the cocaine purchases, scales, plastic bags, and $2,723 in cash.

Thank goodness that the Woonsocket Police are trying to clean up our city with all these drug dealers. They are continuously polluting our neighborhoods. Their is other all alternatives to better living. One day these dealers will look within themselves and realize they are harming their families, friends and communities. We have to pray for God to open up their hearts, and to learn how to love themselves and know their lives are worth more than drug dealing and selling and taking these drugs, and causing harm to others within their communities! Prayerfully, by getting arrested, these dealers and addicts, will look at themselves and get the help they need to truly need to "live" this life! Because they are not living, they are just existing! God help them....
