Monday: Pitbulls, Debates, Things, Calendar
That's right. You survived the weekend. Best have a look at what that earned you.
Pitbulls - Tonight, 7 p.m. at City Hall, in the second floor conference room, the City Council will host a work session with members of the Woonsocket Police Department and the and the RISPCA to discuss the pros and cons of a pitbull ordinance proposed by City Council President John Ward (see attached .pdf).
Debate - If pitbulls, the laws governing dogs and whether those laws are enforced or enforceable aren't your thing, there's the third Presidential Debate tonight at 9 p.m. on foreign policy. The debate takes place at Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida, moderated by Bob Schieffer (Host of Face the Nation on CBS).
The format for the debate will be identical to the first presidential debate.
Things - Got something going on that people have to know about a particular morning at 5:30 a.m.? E-mail it to firstname.lastname@example.org, and ask nicely - it'll probaby make it in for the following morning.
Calendar - If you've got an event you want to share with the many readers of the Woonsocket Patch, you can be your own best advocate - post it yourself to the Woonsocket Patch calendar. Fill in the blanks with your event's information, and you're good to go.
Chime in - We're interested in what you have to say. Maybe the readers of the Woonsocket Patch are, too — they were certainly interested in Bryan Palumbo's blog, Ask a Conservative. Sign up and start your own:
