Emily Luther on Ellen: Woonsocket High grad Emily Luther was recently recognized for her cover of Adele's "Someone Like You" after her entry in the Perez Hilton cover contestLuther will perform the cover again, this time on the Ellen show. You can tune in on Channel 10 at 4 p.m.

Walk to school: Four Woonsocket Schools will participate in Walk to School day today. Citizens Memorial Elementary, Bernon Heights, Governor Pothier, and Voila M. Berard Schools are among dozens in Rhode Island where students are encouraged to walk or bike to school instead of taking the bus tomorrow. Keep those laces tight!

Anime: Woonsocket Harris Public Library hosts Anime night tonight at 6 p.m. Anime night is dedicated to those, ages 12-18 who have a fond love for the art and joy of japanese animation. Night includes popular television shows and films to be shown.
