Where: Meet in the municipal parking located at 66 Main St. Woonsocket, RI
What: On Friday, June 22,2012, NeighborWorks Blackstone River Valley (NWBRV) will kick off its new Commercial Corridors program with a new volunteer project to help beautify downtown.
Starting at 8:30am, volunteers will be out on Main Street engaging in clean up, planting and greening projects all aimed at improving the physical appearance of the commercial district.
The effort is the first of many beautification projects that will occur on Main Street throughout the summer as part of an effort to improve the capacity of local organizations, businesses and the City to attract new businesses and support existing ones in the downtown district.
